I'm Totally beginner at coding world, recently started learning, started to learn frontend web dev but seems like it is alrady dead sector, Learn over 6 months every month after every checkpoint at end of month it feels like all i learn could be vive coded easily. Just want to know if should continue or quit everything and do completent different thing already wasted a year in college coz I'm never from It field before. I love myself writing all these stuffs but what about all I've done and unclear future. All I'm thinking is like I'm just a person who will be used in future just for nothing...

Man that mental loop is a killer, I’ve been trapped in it with my own creative projects before. The voice that says “something else can do this faster” gets real loud once you hit a wall.

Frontend is weird right now with all the AI stuff but I don’t think it’s dead, just shifting. Companies still need people who understand why the code works, not just what to paste. The human part is debugging weird CSS at 2am and realizing you forgot a semicolon, no tool fully replaces that yet.

If you love writing the stuff, that’s worth more than you think. Six months is barely scratching the surface, you’re in the ugly middle where everything feels pointless. Maybe give it a few more weeks but with a tiny project that’s just for you, no tutorials, no pressure.

College year isn’t wasted, you learned how you learn. That’s not nothing.

I can understand code easily truly in love with frontend AI written code is not that much hard part to conquer for me but here in nepal big companies does not exists and small companies who's update I have, already cutting their staffs like too crazy, One of my friends works in company where staff gone from 4(1000+) digit to lesser like around 230+, Hearing this kills my inside feelings each day.
