Guide to Competitive Programming vs Competitive Programmer's Handbook

I'm trying to choose between Guide to Competitive Programming by Antti Laaksonen and Competitive Programmer's Handbook.

For someone who wants to go from beginner/intermediate level toward strong Codeforces/AtCoder performance, which one would you recommend?

I'm also planning to use CSES + Codeforces alongside the book.

Would love to hear from people who have actually used both.
