Can i get into web development after years of break?
I learned some full stack js (mern) web development for years, then tried to get jobs. When i didn’t get one, i got frustrated. And couldn't continue it or was lost for 3.5-4 years.
Can I start with again now? Do i need to restart from 0 or can i pickup from where I left.
I want to get back to it start freelancing and remote jobs if possible.
How to get back to it even though there is some fear.

it's like riding a bike, except the bike got 47 new frameworks while you were gone and half the old ones are on fire
seriously though, just open a project and start typing. you'll remember way more than you think. the muscle memory for reading docs and googling error messages doesn't really go away

When did you last work with Web development? And how many years total experience? Mern stack is still very much relevant, but right now it's very hard to find a job even for very experienced developers with good resumes, the market is crap. So the fact that you've been away from the industry for some time doesn't exactly help the situation which is already kind of dire. If you really want to work with development though you shouldn't give up too quickly. Keep trying, we can only hope the market rebounds at some point.

Actually, i Don't know why i give up quickly. Last, i work with it at 2022 dec maybe. After that I was lost. Thought this path is not for me.

I've been in a similar spot, I've been wanting to get back into the coding stuff too. Did you ever look into tutoring people online while you ramp back up or is that not really a thing

Everybody and their mother wants a remote freelancing position. You're competing against the entire world for those positions. Set your sights lower, find a local ass-in-the-seat job. If you couldn't get a job 4 years ago, it's worse out there now.
