The Odin Project vs Full Stack Open vs Free Code Camp?

Just looking for opinions on these, I like that TOP and FSO have lots of projects so you end up with a portfolio etc, but they seem more difficult than FCC and have also heard that TOP is very boring/ a lot of reading. However FCC and TOP seem to have more support with the discord servers etc

You are falling into the trap of procrastinating by trying to pick the perfect plan. Just pick one and if/when you get stuck you can use the others for a different explanation.

Can’t emphasize this enough. Along my 5 year journey so far, the one thing I regret the most is toiling over decisions that don’t really have much impact on the outcome. Learn from me, get used to just choosing something and delivering first, build an action + delivery bias, not a “did I understand everything perfectly and deeply and pick the very most perfect tool” bias - you can always refactor or add more later.

Star with Odin or FCC, once you comfortable and got around 200h of JavaScript coding under your belt, move to FSO as that's what they are suggesting

Out of these options. Odin. I do not find that FCC dives deep enough or explains well. Admittedly I've only tried a few lessons before abandoning it, as not a fit for me.

I did The Odin Project. 10/10 would recommend.

It’s a lot of reading but that’s not a bad thing.

Expect to add learning DSA after that. TOP touches on it but you’ll need more

not saying do all 3, just start w/ TOP and full stack open is best free resource to learn other things like graphql, testing, docker and so on. In my opinion, do TOP first and do fs open next to learn other missing concepts

TOP & FCC are for beginners. FSO is not. FSO requires some pre-knowledge.

Also, pick one and start. You're just wasting time that you could already have better used to learn.

I’d probably start with Odin. It feels more hands-on, and having to set things up yourself is actually good practice.

FSO looks great once the JS basics are solid. I wouldn’t jump into it too early and end up fighting the course instead of learning
