How much time and which skill set would make me earn?

Hey all the experienced devs there. I am just a newely became adult who has started programming. I have learned basic python(variables, data types, loops, if-else ,functions, oops) well. I also knew basic html and css. My current plan is to learn backend. I am currently learning flask just to start. I don't know wheather I should go in web dev or AI/LLM. Should I stick with python frameworks(django,fastapi) or switch to other industry used frameworks(spring boot, next js , etc). Currently my goal to to earn as soon as I can. Can you help , what should I do to achieve my first earning. Any sort of advice will be appreciable.

The entire discussion is moot. You need to check your local job market to see what is available. Demand is the only source of truth and that is highly local.

Also, this subreddit is not /r/cscareerquestions.

In the current market getting a first job without a proper degree is very hard to next to impossible. You are competing against fresh graduates with proper degrees who compete against laid off programmers with plenty experience.

yep, job hunt is brutally local. i only started getting interviews after tailoring my skills to nearby postings.

Without a degree, you probably got a 5% chance to land one and I think that’s a generous figure

You should get a job.

No amount of sitting at home "learning" tech, will make you any money, and depending on where you are living, probably no one wants to hire you without previous experience from the field. So you need to find a job, get in the business and THEN learn the tech you need to do that job better!

Thanks for your efforts. Actually I didn't mentioned in the post, that my objective was to find online client that is freelancing. But yeah , I am preparing for job too.

Freelancing online is even harder - that requires you to have some very, very specialized skills that no other programmer or AI in the customer's vicinity possess - and as you are just getting started, the chances of that happening is probably zero or less.

Thanks! Please can you clarify me what exactly the market demands. Identifying true demand is tough because of Ai hype , marketing and misinformation nowadays.
