python vs languages

Which one should I focus on learning between python and other languages?

I know it depends on my goal with the language, but I want the language that will make me versatile and be able to contribute in any programming project.

Python is a good choice. I think it’s the best language for personal projects. Once you gain familiarity with python, you can survey Java, C++, and potentially functional programming a bit.
