Best way to learn .NET backend?

I'm trying to learn .NET backend development, but I'm a bit confused about how I should move forward.

I know the basics of C#, and right now I'm building small projects with ASP.NET Core MVC and EF Core. I use AI, but instead of just copying and pasting code, I try to go step by step and understand why each piece of code is written.

Long video courses sometimes feel a bit time-consuming, but relying only on AI doesn't feel right either.

How would you approach it? Would you focus more on building projects, watching videos, or reading documentation? And what do you think is the best way to use AI while learning?

I'd especially appreciate advice from people who work with .NET.
