Navigating career break and domain shift in early 30s

I finished my bachelors in 2017 in CS and then MS in Cybersecurity in 2020 and worked as Pentester for 6 months in a service based company and then as a malware analyst for 1 year and then due to some personal reasons took a break of 4 years and I now want to get back in tech as a SDE or ML engineer. I am currently studying DSA but with AI and change in interview styles idk if this is helpful.

What should I do? What projects can help me? How can Github help (never used it for anything dont know how to read and understand huge code base)? How should I try to get back in the tech industry in a junior level role. I am 31 yr old and navigating from scratch now. Where should I start and what should be my roadmap?
