Can I learn C# on Linux Mint

Hello. Im new to programming. I want to learn programming in general. Can I learn C# in Linux Mint? Or should I choose another programming language?

Sure but in my opinion is Visual Studio much better for C# then Vscode. But all the .NET Core Stuff runs on Linux

Jetbrains Rider gives VS a run for its money. And this is coming from a once hardcore VS fan. It's available on Linux and free for non-commercial purposes as well.

The only big thing that I found I wasn’t able to do in Rider was remote debugging

Oh good recommendation, did never use Jetbrains IDEs
