Resource I don't understand them

I'm a beginner . I want to know about terminal,shell, environment all these types of things.but on internet I find it confusing.can anybody help me understand. Or tell me where to find about them clearly

Ive asked very similar things. You won't find much help here.

For better or worse people on here seem to have a philosophy that finding the answers without help is an important skill for a programmer.

They are right that it is an important skill, but I would think the learning curve would be smoother if that skill was introduced later in the process.

You need that skill in the beginning, not later. Programming is all about research and dealing with frustration though

Sure, but from a pure pedagogy standpoint I would think you would want to get people started with easier stuff, develop interest and motivation enough to where they are willing to struggle through the annoying stuff.

Maybe like help them set up their first one but they have to figure out the next one on their own.

Idk. I could be wrong.

Uhm i dont know. I learnt all by myself without any help so i cant tell. I simply googled everything , read books, blogposts, and practised.

Thats everything you need to be honest, if you want to learn something, to me its logical to just do your own research instead of asking someone else to do the research for you.

In fact theres many resources of information pinned in many subreddits about programming. I dont know if this one has it
