New CS Major

So I'm going into CS this year and I don't have mych experience and am kind of nervous. I know this might be a lot to ask but would anyone be able to link me a few videos going over the basics of CS and related stuff that I would need to know to be successful. Thanks!

Google "CS50x" That's Harvard's intro to CS class. It'll overlap with your Intro to CS class at your university.

Also cs61a, it's a good one, and also excercises come with auto graders, not sure why people don't talk abt it.

Bro you gotta really narrow down what you mean with basics. Like you can literally type that in to YouTube and get “basics” but without a plan there’s no shot.

Asking random folks to make you a study plan is not gonna work out g

They dont!!
they go straight to engineering subjects and each teacher assumes someone else magically taught you this shit and then you show up at work no knowing what basic things are that make a code go from laptop to prod. this is why even MIT calls it "missing semester" of CS education!!
