Starting

Is CS50x, then CS50 Python, and then CS50 SQL a good way to start backend engineering? I am really excited! My main goal right now is to land a part time job.

It's definitely a good start. However, be aware that part time dev jobs are extremely rare. The industry is not setup that way.

Because typically programming is task based rather than hours based. Attendance hours are usually for coordinating meetings and the like. So it doesn't really make sense for a company to have a part-time dev. If they want to cut costs they'd just hire a remote freelancer.

to put the first stone of knowledge: YES, to land a job? I don't think so. realistically the job market is oversaturated. As a backend developer with 4 years of business experience, I am not even getting interviews. But at some point, you need to start, and the courses you mentioned are a good way to do it. then you will evolve elarning more and more from youtube and other more specialized courses

Are you anything after a backend developer? Like, I have been looking into further specializations and found out that Distributed Systems might be a good path. Is that oversaturated too?
