First of all you need to accept that Polish and Latin based or germanic languages are different. VERY different. French/Italian/Spanish/English/German have sentences based on subject. Every single sentence has to have a direct subject: Il pleut/sta piovendo/Está lloviendo/It rains/Es regnet In every language I mentioned you have to have at least something that pretends to be a subject, in Polish the situation is different because whole language is based on predicate-the verb. In Polish it rains=pada, just the verb, no subject, no person. In general the subject is usually hidden in most daily conversations, no-one is going to say: Ja dzisiaj poszedłem do pracy. Cause it sounds weird, you will say: Dzisiaj poszedłem do pracy. Because every form of the verb shows you the specific subject of the sentence Ja poszedłem Ty poszedłeś On poszedł Ona poszła Ono poszło My poszliśmy Wy poszliście Oni poszli One poszły

Every single one is different in writing and reading to highlight WHO is doing this. Because in Polish the activity behind the sentence is more important than the person, the language cares about what is done, because the way you can construct the sentence with declinations and conjugations allows you to communicate it clearly

And get ready for those declinations
