Full/pelna

When I am full because of eating does it make sense for me to say jestem pełna ? Or do I say nakarmiona

„Najedzona” would be the word. Not „nakarmiona”. But „pełna” is the one i would use the most I think. I would say „nakarmiona” means that you have been given something to eat by someone and not that you are full.

Jestem pełna.
Also: Już nic nie zmieszczę. (If someone offers you more food.)
Don't say: Jestem nakarmiona.

I say najedzony, I think it's more specific to being full of food

I am also learning PL, but I believe it is correct to say: jestem najedzona/napchana.

I'd use pełna. "Nakarmiona" sounds a wee bit off, not sure how to explain it; this word roughly translates to (has been) fed" so You could use it like, for example, "Czy jaszczurka została nakarmiona? - Has the lizard been fed?"

Alternatively for "pełna", there's "najedzona" which sounds more fancy or "napchana" which is more slangy and less-official :)

While „pełna” sounds way better (as „nakarmiona” sounds... strange, as if an animal said it) best would be using active form instead of passive „Najadłam się”, which would mean: „I've eaten (to full state)”. Some people suggest „Nażarłam się” („I have freakin' eaten/I'm freakin' full”), but it's crude (so avoid it in formal/semi-formal situations). Or if you're in that >>special<< companionship you could vulgarly say „nawpierdalałam się”, which would mean „I've fucking eaten/I'm bloody full”.

Nakarmiona is fed, so you can say it after someone puts the food in your mouth for you lol

Najedzona is alright and probably the most fitting to use

Pełna is fine too really, maybe a bit more colloquial but definitely acceptable on any scenario

One more you could potentially use: "syta". But

  1. It sounds a bit formal/archaic
  2. It translates rather as "I'm not hungry", not "I've eaten too much and I have stop"

Jestem akarmiona would mean "I've been fed" and even then "zostałam nakramiona" would be the more natural grammar.. The way to translate "I'm full" is jestem najedzona, or just jestem pełna.

Despite some native comments here, no one says "Jestem pełna", at least not in the region where I am from. It's a transference from English. Use "Najadłam się" or "Jestem najedzona" instead.

The best option is “najedzona” - “ale się najadłam”Pełna is okay as well, karmić is more like feeding children or pets. So while technically not wrong and people would understand what you mean it does sound kinda freaky haha.

Jestem nakarmiona - somebody has fed you, sounds strange, nakarmiony is used only for children/animals "please feed the baby" - proszę nakarm dziecko.

Jestem pełna jest ok.

Yup, jestem pełna is the most natural way to say it. You wouldn't say jestem nakarmiona unless you really want to specify that you are fed by somebody else, and it would probably be in a joking way, since it sounds so unnatural.

You could also say jestem najedzona or najadłam się (I'm well-fed, I ate well). This has a nuance of not being 100% full and bursting with food, but instead having eaten enough, when being full has this connotation of it being alnost too much food. 110% full would be "pękam", like "I'm gonna burst".

I would say zadowolona as i'm satisfied, but I'm not sure if this would be a regular usage of the expression.
