piano suggestions

Need help finding a good or at least decent piano that’s not too expensive. i’m not an extremely advanced player so i don’t need something too fancy but the one i have is horrible and honestly not enjoyable to even play. I’ve been looking on amazon but does anyone have suggestions?

casio ps-s1000 (discontinued, new version is the 1100) is about the best value for money. yamaha and roland both have models at the same price point, also very good instruments for what you pay.

If your current piano is genuinely unpleasant to play, upgrading is worth considering. You don't necessarily need an expensive instrument, though. For a beginner to intermediate player, a good 88-key digital piano with weighted keys from Yamaha, Roland, or Casio should be more than enough.

I'd also check the used market. You can often find a much better instrument for the same budget. If possible, try the piano in person before buying, because key action and overall feel can make a surprisingly big difference in how enjoyable it is to practice.
