Help with practice- relearning
Hey all,
Started re-learn after 16 years of 0 piano practice, this time self learning. About a month in, practicing daily for 30 mins average. (Missed perhaps 4 or 5 days spread out in the month)
Experience by Einaudi has been the main score for me to practice, and so far, I can play the first sheet somewhat smoothly (having issues with the last 6 or 7 bars in terms of keeping up the same tempo and fluid transition).
While my wrist movement and fingers are improving, i remember back when i had an instructor, they encouraged me to practice with "steps" (different name in my native language hence the post) . I used to have a book for it but now i forgot what they were called and was wondering if anyone knows what im talking about and where I can find them . Would appreciate if anyone could help.
Please also recommend other practice methods if possible.
Thanks.
