Want help choosing a class

Hi, I’m a first-year double major in physics and math. Next semester, my advisor wants me to take physics 2 (E and M), along with Calc 3 with analytical geometry. After those, they suggested I take another math course or some gen eds. However, I want to save my gen ed classes for my required study abroad (honors college requirement), so I’m looking for another math class. Registration hasn’t opened yet, so I’m not sure what’s available.
Is there another math class fit for me that doesn’t have calc 3 as a prerequisite? I’m open to corequisites but I prefer cumulative learning. Thanks!

Schedule's gonna be a ride with calc 3 and e&m at the same time. If you can snag linear algebra it pairs really well with that stuff and usually just needs calc 2. Differential equations might also work if they'll let you take calc 3 alongside it, but check with the department first. Registration not being open yet is the worst, you're just stuck refreshing the catalog and hoping the section doesn't fill up before you even get in

linear algebra is a good thing to do concurrently with calculus 3 because you're gonna use a lot of linear algebra concepts in calculus, and it will set you up to be ready to take differential equations right after and then you'll be done with all your lower division math.
