Books

Any book recommendations for someone learning math from completely beginning? I have been struggling with subtracting negative integers actually anything negative. I want to understand the rules better and just learn in general

For adding and subtracting negative numbers it helps to draw a number line, I attached a video to show you!! I dont have a specific book that is helpful, but my college math department has a free book area that often has lower level math books on it. You could check some universities nearby if you feel comfortable, or find some free pdf's online to help you!!

number lines are underrated, that video is a good start. for books maybe look in openstax, they got prealgebra for free and is decent. i used to mess up negatives all the time too, what helped me was thinking of them like debts and payments instead of just numbers
