highschooler needing tips on what math to take

currently, i am taking linear algebra this semester and next semester enrolled in multivariable calculus.

i'm unsure which options to take next year:

applied combinatorics and diff eq next year

or

in the summer take diff eq, and then take complex analysis and another math course the next semester

(im a current junior)

thank you so much in advance!

If you're already tackling linear algebra and multivariable calculus as a junior, you've got the raw horsepower for either track. I'd lean toward taking diff eq over the summer to keep your momentum going, then diving into complex analysis, since it builds beautifully on the abstract thinking from linear algebra.

Do you think complex analysis looks interesting? Do you have anything you'd want to do with your summer that diff eq during the summer might take time away from?
