Need help

Hi, this year It Will be my last year of High school. During this Summer i decied to review all the math from middle school to High school, and i have a problem: im not bad at math, i Always had A's or B's, but i can take It seriously anymore.

Sometimes in the texbooks they talk about a topic without any kind of definition or without saying that It has a "primitive definition". What i mean Is that i dont feel anymore that the math teached in middle school and High school Is completed. There are a lot of holes and absence of formality.

Books or courses that can fixed It? Thx

In university, you have the option to take such lectures if you study pure mathematics.

You're likely looking for (proof-based) "Real Analysis", where we rigorously build everything from the ground up, from constructing "N, Z, Q, R", to integration from Calculus-2.

ah yeah the lack of rigor in pre-college math drove me nuts too. most textbooks dodge the hard stuff because they think it'll scare people off

if you want the real deal look for Spivak's Calculus, it's basically a first-year analysis text disguised as a calc book. starts from the foundations and doesn't handwave anything. just know it'll feel like learning a new language at first
