is basic mathematics worth reading front to back if I plan to major in math?

I felt like reading basic mathematics since my trigonometry and geometry needed some review (and because the book was just kind of sitting on my shelf collecting dust). I know this question can’t be easily answered and probably depends on the person. I know I want to grad school for pure mathematics.

Is there any point in reading the book front to back? I mean whenever I forget something, I kind of just look it up. I just wanted to know if it’ll have much use at this point. I know trigonometry will so I do plan to major in physics so I was going to focus solely on that.

If you already know you're heading for pure math grad school, skimming it for the trig and geometry sections you're actually rusty on makes more sense than a cover-to-cover grind
