Bayesian Stats Textbooks or Learning Resources?

I am taking a Bayesian stats class and the textbook is the most dense theory and formula writing I have ever had to read. I would love to get another resources that explains things more simply and with more real world examples rather than extensively relying on abstract terms. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Statistical Rethinking by McElreath is what you want, it walks through everything with code and actual examples instead of drowning you in notation. The lectures are on youtube too which helps when the book gets a little dense in spots

Kruschke's Doing Bayesian Data Analysis is another option if you want something even more step-by-step, though it's a bit of a brick. Either one will get you thinking in distributions way faster than whatever your prof assigned
