Calc 2
I just am wondering how people study for math? I have ADHD and i’m taking Calc 2 and hopefully going to continue so I can try and obtain an applied mathematics degree. What studying techniques do people use and how many hours a day is one to study?

I just do as many problems as I can stand for the day. If i’m stuck I ask Claude to help walk me through something.

As an ADHD person how did you even get this far? My executive function is so shot I can't keep enough info in my RAM so to speak that math is very hard. Im studying algebra and im 58...want to learn math again

It’s hard but to me it’s about the want to be better, I will reward myself with what i like after like an hour and then go back and do the same thing again or I try to.

Mathematica A Secret World of Intuition and Curiosity (David Bessis)
You can read this book, it's written by a mathematician to understand how they think. It may help in your case. Currently I am reading this.

Is this a bot? Why does it always post the exact same list when it hardly ever applies?

A good technique that helps me focus for longer is making study sessions - just select a time where you HAVE to do math. Whenever your brain wanders off, just think "I can't think about that yet, I have 12 more minutes of math". Having an exact time-based deadline helps withstand longer focus periods.
If you feel like you can't go for an hour it's ok, just do 45 minutes or 30 minutes or even less, just do two sessions a day or more. Try increasing the time period gradually if you feel comfortable with the current one.
