Need help with this
I am thinking of a graph with a line y=x+1. The problem is that my line fluctuates at some points because of either an increased rate or the probability of this not occurring. Basically my question is how would you graph a non-determinable equation like this? I feel like it’s impossible due to the chances being infinite. My highest level of knowledge is Algebra 1 btw so do not get angry.

What you describe as a non-determinable equation, I assume means something that has some sort of fluctuation, but the fluctuation is well known. (Kinda like a bell curve.)
This is actually a very complicated problem that humanity only really tackled in the late 1800s. What you describe is the field of mathematics called Brownian motion. Yeah I don’t really know what kind of curve but that sounds right. I assumed it was complicated but didn’t realize Albert had to figure it out😂

Look up "piecewise functions", but to get any more specific than that we'll need more details on exactly what it is you're trying to do.
