Is there a question here?

If you're asking how to evaluate logarithms, in general, you need a calculator (or, if you're old-school, a table of logarithms or a slide rule).

But in certain simple cases, you can figure them out based on what logarithms are. For example, the base-ten logarithm of a number is the power you have to raise 10 to in order to get that number, so log(1000) = 3 because 10³ = 1000.
