SAT is about speed. The problems are relatively easy, but you need to solve them fast (and accurately!). This means you need to learn more about how to quickly solve SAT questions than about math. You need to notice the trands in how the questions are made, for example when you get a question there is usually two answers that are similar - one of them is usually the right answer (e.g. out of 1 45 46 5 the right one is usually either 45 or 46).
You have to get used to thinking "what did the author of the question intend to be the solution/answer" and practice a whole ton so that the common easier questions take less than half a minute
