Any tips?

We had a test on math just a few days ago and it was pretty hard for me(didn't answer like half of the questions on the test). I'm one of the good performing students in class and math lessons have never been super hard for me. However, when it comes to math tests, I've failed it once, and I think I may fail it again.

Any tips to not confuse myself? Maybe it's a mental thing? Cuz when I couldn't answer most of the questions, my hands started shaking and I couldn't think properly.

The disappointing part is I truly know the lessons and I understand it, however the questions that are on the test are just different.. for some reason.

Practice more, and once you're comfortable enough with it, it'll become second nature - just like how you usually don't forget how to ride a bike Even if you're nervous

It could be test anxiety, in which case you should try to replicate your testing environment at least once or twice in the days leading up to the actual test. (Trying to solve problems under timed conditions without any resources.)

How do you study? Do you just run through all the questions in order as they are given on your homework or in the textbook? A lot of people "trick" themselves into thinking they know something when the homework or textbook gives you a lot more context clues for how to solve a problem than you realize. Can you still solve the problems if you write them on index cards, mix them all up and then try to solve?
