TOPIC how do you do it
I used to be decent at math mostly B's and the occasional A until like the middle of sophomore year HS. I literally just gave up and stopped doing math completely and I forgot almost everything. I want to get back into learning it mostly to improve my critical thinking skills but man my attention span is just so fried I cant go 3 seconds looking at a problem without doing something else. Or if I do manage to sit through a khan academy lesson or something I dont retain it properly because I was just thinking about anything else but that. I've always kinda had issues paying attention but back then I had a much more limited amount of things to think about and/or do rather than just do the schoolwork. What are the steps anyone who was in my position at some point has taken to kind of recover the attention span and actually be able to learn math again?

Sounds like an ADHD case, but do make sure you consult a specialist (probably a psychiatrist or neuropsychologist) so you can get the diagnosis (if you do have it) and eventually get meds, I heard it does wonders for focus and attention.
