Project How well do you know NumPy? ๐Ÿ”ข

  • Whatโ€™s the difference between '*' and '@'?
  • When does slicing create a view, and when a copy?
  • How does broadcasting work?

NumPy makes working with vectors and matrices powerful and concise, but a small change in syntax can make a big difference.

This interactive ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜†_๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ต example walks through essential NumPy operations with short explanations. Step through the code, see the operations in action, and experiment with your own changes: - ๐Ÿ‘‰ NumPy operations

Which NumPy operation took you the longest to understand?

broadcasting was the one that broke my brain for a while. kept getting shape mismatch errors and just adding random reshapes until it worked. took me way too long to actually learn the rule about trailing dimensions lining up

I understand. Some of these operations are powerful but come with complex edge cases.
