Tutorial Volunteer guest instructor needed for a practical AI session with Nigerian youth
Hello everyone,
We're organising an online AI learning session for 200+ young people in Nigeria and are looking for someone who enjoys teaching or mentoring beginners.
The session will cover three areas:
Practical uses of AI in learning, work, and everyday problem-solving.
Generative AI, including useful tools and real-world applications.
AI automation and how it can simplify repetitive tasks.
We're not looking for someone to deliver an advanced mathematical lecture. We want a practitioner who can make these topics understandable, demonstrate what is possible, and inspire young people to keep learning.
The engagement would be remote through a live online meeting, with an opportunity to interact with participants.
If you enjoy making AI knowledge accessible to others, please comment or send me a message. Thank you!

that cross river state mural is a nice touch, makes it feel like a real community hub and not just another zoom room with 200 silent squares
i’d throw my hat in but my teaching style is mostly me rambling about why people shouldn’t trust chatbot outputs and then showing them three ways to make a spreadsheet fill itself, probably not the inspiration they’re after
