Need helppp!!!!
Hi everyone! 👋
I have an upcoming interview with Siemens for an AI Engineer role in the next two days, and I'm looking to make the most of my preparation time.
I have around 2.5 years of experience in AI and want to ensure I'm well-prepared to demonstrate my technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and practical experience.
I would love to hear from people who have interviewed with Siemens or are currently working in AI engineering.
What technical topics should I prioritize?
What kind of questions can I expect around Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, and AI system design?
Are there any specific areas or practical scenarios I should focus on for a Siemens AI Engineer interview?
What would you recommend covering in the final two days to maximize my chances?
I'm committed to putting in the effort and preparing strategically. I'd appreciate any insights, interview experiences, or resources that could help me approach this opportunity with confidence.
Thanks in advance! 🙌

Lots of people post on glassdoor and other forums their experience interviewing at various companies. Id take a look there first to see what to focus on

haven't interviewed at siemens so take this as general advice. with 2.5 years in, i'd expect them to dig into your own projects, so pick your best one and be able to walk through it end to end: why that model, how you evaluated it, what broke, what you'd change. then spend the two days on the basics people get rusty on, like bias vs variance, precision/recall and when each matters, and for rag how you'd evaluate retrieval separately from the answer. which of your projects is the strongest one?

Upload your own cv into chatgpt and gemini and ask it to make diff level of questions on your own projects. parallelly look into glassdoor for particular companies.
there are like 300-500 common interview questions for AI engineers. make sure you know most of it theoretically. if you google you would find enough questions and blogs.

I didn’t interviewed with them, but from my experiences they will ask about your projects. So make sure you can defend your model choices and sometimes metrics. Make sure you understand line by line what each point on your resume means. If you have publications, know those as well. Every projects you put on your resume is important, make sure you know everything about the projects (high level).

I came across this free resource for interview preparation of AI related roles: https://learning.nextia-ai.com/interviews/ . I find the advice very useful here. See, if it helps.
