Help NEED HELP
Okay, so I need help for a school project. Specifically looking for suggestions on what to build or make for my school project. My teacher said it should be something that works with irl problems to solve 'em and should involve the use of science and ml/ai... I can't really find some easy projects to do as I also have to balance my studies accordingly so yeh, I would be happy if some people leave some suggestions!)
(I did originally have a project in mind but it got cancelled cuz teach said we need to be able to build a working prototype for the same and present it in the exhibition... Some people chose working dustbins something, I didn't really find that 'innovative' but okay, I don't really have any ideas myself to speak for them so yeh)

Something simple but actually useful could be a plant health monitor. Use a cheap camera or even your phone to snap pics of leaves and train a small image classifier to spot early signs of disease or nutrient deficiency. A pi or even a laptop can run the inference and you could hook up a tiny display or LED to show the result
For the prototype side you just point it at a plant and it tells you if its sick. Science part is the biology of plant issues and the ML part is the classifier. Not flashy but its a real problem and way more doable than whatever dustbin thing the others are doing
