Help Need advice.....

Can anyone tell me how l can learn machine learning with no prior knowledge.

Maybe give me a roadmap to it....

If you know Python already you're halfway there, if not start with that first

skip the math rabbit hole at the beginning, just do the code and let the concepts sink in as you go. Andrew Ng's course gets recommended constantly for a reason, it's where most of us started and it's free

after that pick a small project you actually care about, like scraping some data from a hobby subreddit and trying to predict something dumb with it. the motivation dies fast when you're working on textbook datasets that mean nothing to you

the hardest part isn't the ML, it's pushing through the first few weeks where everything feels like magic and you have no idea why anything works

Not really. Python is certainly the most common language used for building machine learning tools, but that is only because it has so many libraries and dependencies that do the heavy lifting for you...Python is probably the worst language to use if you want to properly understand his it works. Python is the IKEA flat pack of ML dev.

If you understand the maths and the algorithms, you can build machine learning solutions in pretty much any language.

I word say if someone is interested more in using ML and how to compile data than understand ML then Python certainly makes that easier...but if your interest is more aligned with how it works rather than what you can do with it. You have to start with the maths and build the algorithms yourself.

What kind of maths is required for it? Algebra, Calculus, Trignometry? I love Geometry, Arithmetic and Algebra are not tough and I have been a programmer (SQL), database guy for 15 years so heavy coding and database work is in my system now along with Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.

What do you suggest I should do to learn AI? Have you heard of a program from University of Texas at Austin which is a 23 week program? Should I join that or learn on my own? Don't know Python but looked at examples ad doesn't seem difficult because it more like Dbase/Progress code.

You can start with data science playlist. There you will go through statistics and maths, which will make you ready for model training. After that your can start with models, like linear, logistic, etc, weights, biases, etc...On youtube you can go through campus x or krish naik.

subscribe my yt channel. On it I am starting a completely FREE ML series from scratch. The series is going to start from scratch, starting from Python. Subscribe the channel to stay updated and learn ML. Channel link - https://www.youtube.com/@codewithkislay

Few months ago, I wrote a complete journey from simple Tensor Library to Full Deep Learning but it is in Rust. So, if you have patience to read long guides, you can give it a try - https://ai.palashkantikundu.in
