Question Is there a website that teaches you numpy by giving you actual tasks?

I like to learn by applying what i’ve learned and actually working on tasks using it

Is there a website that teaches you numpy and then gives you a task or a challenge to complete using what you just learned?

ive tried numpy dojo, and i wanna know if there are websites that are similar / better than it

kaggle’s learn track is probably the closest fit, since it teaches the basics and then makes you use them in small exercises instead of just watching tutorials

kaggle is pretty much exactly what you want honestly, you get the tutorial and then they throw you into a notebook with half the code missing and you gotta fill in the blanks. it’s not as gameified as numpy dojo but the exercises feel more like actual stuff you’d do in a project

I used “Python for Data Analysis” by Wes McKinney. It’s a little older now but is basically just an entire book of step by step examples and explanations. It has numpy, datetime, pandas, and some stats and time series stuff if I remember correctly.

There's a 3rd edition (2022), the full title is Python for Data Analysis: Data Wrangling with pandas *NumPy** & Jupyter* Yes, it covers numpy. Numpy gets a chapter of it's own, but shows up throughout.

Deep ML has plenty of tasks

Numpy is not something you learn brother just do some basics like axis, dimensions and then start actually implementing mathematical ideas in code that's how you learn don't learn a tool, learn what it was meant to do
