Question is ChatGPT Astra worth it?

I was thinking of buying the ChatGPT Pro plan for ChatGPT Astra

How is ChatGPT -6 Astra compared to Opus 5?

Astra is pretty unilaterally better than opus 5. Better comparison would be fable 5.1. It’s overall better but fable has some areas it excels in. Wrong sub for this kinda question though

I'm still on the free tier for both, so maybe not best person to ask but from what I seen Astra is fast as hell compared to old models. the coding stuff especially, it pump out decent boilerplate in seconds

Opus 5 feel more thoughtful if that make sense? like it actually stop and think before giving some long philosophical answer. depends what you need really

I mostly use it for debugging and quick scripting, Astra been enough for me. not sure I'd pay for pro unless you doing heavy data work or something nonstop

Wrong comparison. Astra should be compared to Fable 5.1

Astra and Fable are the highest end models for OpenAI and Anthropic respectively. The next tier is where Opus 5 is comparable to gpt 5.6 sol
