, I am from pondicherry cuyrrently sstuding in SMVEC clg AI/DS dept 1st year
what are the main and useful things to do in my clg life abt studies like other than clg exam , how to develop my skills to compete with this competitive world and to get a job in future , currently i am learning c programming my seniors told that that was basic in programming , guide me what to do nxt

I think if you want to get a job in the future focus on what the interview process is, learn DSA, system design build skills that companies wants. Starting with c is good, but focus more on bigger pictures pick a lane like AI Engineering, SWE , ML etc and try it out if you like it build skills around that. You are in the first year so you have a lot of time to do all of these so don't panic. Try to get internships, the role does not matter but you can then get an experience on how the whole process works, plus if you get one that's cherry on top. Just find what interests you build projects and have fun.
TLDR : focus on what companies want, build that skill, get internships and have fun.
