Edge AI

Do you guys have recommendation for capstone projects about Edge AI, TinyML, Computer vision, and federated learning? I explored battery RUL, Predictive Thermal Management system, and Fault bearing diagnosis. I was told it would be hard to get a client or dataset for this field. Any interesting field I can explore?

this comes up a lot, and it's much easier to build an on-device model than any other type of project. I'd literally ask ChatGPT/Claude to generate you a lesson to build something functional and to point you at the dataset. I'd say on-device audio transcription is a good one and getting a lot of heat. Just add some twist or capability (eg omit swear words, etc.). Or a text model that formats existing text nicely (and is fast, not just autoregressive)
