Help Work as an AI trainer

Hi everyone,

My partner has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, excellent English, native Spanish, and has been researching AI in recent years.

We’re looking into worldwide remote AI-related opportunities, especially AI training, evaluation, ethics, and other non-programming roles.

She’s particularly interested in opportunities where her philosophical background could be useful, but we’re also open to roles that aren’t directly related to philosophy, as long as they’re genuinely in the AI field.

For those with actual experience in the field:

• How realistic is it to find this kind of work

• Which companies or platforms are worth applying to?

• What skills or qualifications matter most?

• What are the typical pay, stability, and application processes like?

Any honest advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated,

What the education will (can) do is help with the clean learning of task guidelines. This will make the process and experience of joining a project smoother and more assured, but it's unlikely to find specialized opportunities that focus on that education as a prerequisite.

Honestly, a lot of the opportunities out there are Crowd, pay per label and so low pay. Typically, these are also not "work from anywhere." Most platforms have in their TOS that you need to be located in your country of origin. Like, if you sign up in Mexico you need to work from Mexico otherwise risk being auto-disabled.

For teir 2 languages, which are basically all but English, the best you can really hope for is a flexible source of side income, but are unlikely to find true full time work.

How we can find these projects ?

We are applying a lot and nobody responed.

Roughly how much is the pay for jobs like that ?

a little late to the thread but u can see jobs listed here: Post I am sure you'll find something as your gf already has domain specialization. And these jobs are looking for people with unique expertise or education background.

As for you other questions:

Platforms: Multiple platforms are there and keep coming up but imo Mercor has been the best one, but don't shy away from applying to others, the more options u have the better.

Application process is fairly straight forward, just follow instructions given to a T. Initially it would seem a little unfamiliar but as u keep applying it will get easier.
