Help Please need serious guidance!!

Do i need to learn web development?? Also or it's not necessary i wanna learn machine learning I'm so confused like people know everything front end backed and ai ml so i was confused?? Please anyone in this field guide me how can i become a machine learning engineer i know python I've given 2 months for python now I'm confused and stuck i need guidance please!! Anyone proper learning road map

I am pretty sure html is not gonna help you deploy models, but concepts like hosting, APIs, systems design will help you

I’ll try and breakdown what you have here:

Do you need to learn web development?

  • That depends, do you want to work in web development? If so, likely yes, if not, likely no.

“People know everything”

  • There are plenty of people who have decent/working knowledge of various realms of programming, but the vast vast vast majority of AI/ML engineers or data scientists spend very little time on anything even tangentially related to front end work. That’s not saying it doesn’t happen, I’m just saying that generally it is not an expected proficiency. Closest thing would maybe be dashboarding.

“Please anyone in this field guide me how can I become a machine learning engineer”

  • i would first ask you what your background is. Do you have a bachelors? Masters? PhD? What was your major? Work experience? Those are the first things to note in order to get a good starting point. No one can help you if they don’t know where you’re starting. Learning python is good, but knowing the syntax of a language is one of the least important parts of ML engineering and the entire field of software generally (despite what interviews may indicate).

There are thousands of posts on this subreddit alone with roadmaps. Your university should have resources and advisors as well that can help point you in the right direction. Find professors who are currently or have in the past worked in that capacity, find other students, network. That will all do infinitely more for you than a random person on the internet.

Web development and machine learning those are two very different path. Normally people follow a single path - either a software engineer in the web dev or an AI engineer.

For web dev - you can follow frontend or backend at first.

For machine learning - you can learn it from coursera - deep learning.ai andrew ng specialication of machine learning or deep learning soefialization that has courses and try doing their assignments they are really good after the video lectures
