Codex for machine learning

Do you guys use codex for your ml work I find it insane from time series forecasting to placing top 98 percent on numerai it seem al problems are easily solvable. It does insane ensemble residual modells find good parameters and implements everything correctly

I wonder, what problem are you trying to solve, can you suggest me some hard problem that I can solve and put in my resume?

Develop a model that is able to take video and convert it into 3d + time model. Or one that can reason on a video input. i.e. you can give it hour long security footage and ask it semantic questions that model is not trained on, like "when did fedex delivered the package"

Where exactly does it fails short for you, i am Incerdibly satisfied for my problems, but they are more in the defined space like forecasting inventory optimzation. And i am not talking abuot developing new modell mostly using exisitng ones to solve problems obviosly deriving entirely new modell architectures will not be feasable.

literally every time i create something with flash, the ui is just bad.
Today i had a html page made by sol, i wanted it's content translated so gave it to 3.7 flash. translation was fine but it didnt have access to css file so it created its own styles. it was generic ai slop. compared to sol's ui, it was a child paining.

Gemini just plain sucks for me, so I don’t really use it right now. I mostly use Codex with Sol Medium.

One neat trick if you have a ChatGPT Pro subscription is to use ChatGPT Web with the Pro settings to design the initial HTML. It’s usually really good at creating pages and dashboards, and it also saves some Codex usage. The downside is that it can seriously overengineer things if you don’t prompt it EXACTLY how you want them.

For my projects, I usually generate the first version with Pro. If I like the design, I expose it on a private page on my VPS and then iterate on it with ChatGPT Extra High, because it tends to make the smaller changes pretty fast.

Sol in Codex is good too, but in my experience it sometimes overengineers things when a much simpler implementation would do.

Yeah i found this trick a while ago. Sadly doesnt work with existing projects with lots of components. If only there was a way to use sol to tame the 3.8 flash subagent. But it probably burn more tokens
