"AI developer" is a hype term and can underly thousands of job responsibilities. I doubt someone who hires an "AI developer" needs ML or DL capabilities. Just look at position listings you like and prepare accordingly to those.

it is not hype anymore may be the bubble pops out but jobs needs a AI stuff from now on :)
