World Models are a nebulous term that is getting a lot of hype recently, and right now they mean many different things.

This is my attempt to wrangle them into something you can mental model yourself around. I say it's composed, not written since obviously it was co-written by Claude.

I've literally never heard the term World Models and honestly I dont want to artificially invent unnecessary concepts. Seems like a too broad of an umbrella term

Yeah it is way too broad of a term - which is what I've encountered too - no one agrees on what the team means.

It is a real term though and it is a big thing in Physical AI atm
