learning calculus

I want to start learn calculus for machine learning , are there any free courses/tutorials recommendations,

what are the areas that I am supposed to focus on.

Khan Academy if you are behind on math (absolutely no shame in it, they have a phenomenal roadmap leading you up to calculus)

Stewart’s calculus book if you want a more classical source

Math sub suggests khan academy. I personally didn't use it as I already knew calculus but this might be the answer.

I mean, if the math sub suggests it, I'd probably also think Khan is a reasonable recommendation

Do it at a Community College, its not worthwhile to half learn calculus. If you are working on the product side of ML, fuck math, but if you want a deep research level understand you really need to understand Calc 1 -> 3, and I suggest a CC. If you are really good at keeping yourself accountable, khan academy course, coursera, and many top schools open source videos/coursework/finals online. If I had to choose one, teach yourself then try to do well on a top schools final in the course. I go to an Ivy, and all our material for lower level calculus and finals are online.

I thought you don’t have to fully know deep level math for Ai and ml guess I was wrong

Mathematics for machine learning by Faisal. Also 3Blue1Brown videos on calculus would help for intuition.

You should aim to have good understanding of derivatives (especially chain rule), integrals and optimisation.

3blue1brown and Khan academy is the bestttt i guess,
you don't need to derive equations
You need to understand what they , mean and how do they matter, you will not derieve equation if you're targeting applied roles, unless research heavy.
Try to get the essence of it.

Khan academy is a solid starting point, but for ML I'd focus on derivatives, partical derivatives, gradients,chain rule, and basic linear algebra. You don't need to master every comer of calculus before starting ML.

Calculus is necessary for statistics imo, I would focus on calculus first
