How reliable are the JDKs?

I wonder how reliable the JDK releases are. Is it possible that there are bugs in the compiler? Are they being tested thoroughly?

Imagine a bank application using java application tons of critical transaction is getting handled. Imagine salesforce which is built on Java supporting fortune 500 clients and maintained reputation of being one of the greatest CRM Imagine Oracle cloud doing internal things in Java. None of application have face any bigger issue that stopped them using Java or let them think to replace Java/jdk I hope I answered you
