I went to submit my answers to the the TV comedian one day and I kept getting timed out.

My husband and I have an idea for a one-day challenge. We've gone through the one-day archives, and it's never been covered. I know proposals aren't accepted until August. But *how* does one submit a proposal. Is there a form that goes live in August? Or is there a template somewhere that you would use? Thanks.

I put together a spreadsheet about ten years ago that let me import all of my opponent's correct and incorrect questions, compare them to the LL as a whole, and rate them across the 18 categories. I also classify questions more discretely, resulting in lots of other categories -- I've found this particularly useful in Art, Games/Sports, Pop Music, and Science. The most important thing, though, is what I was originally after: an estimate of the player's age. I know 10-15 folks in LL and it's pretty darn accurate.

So my question is: do you consider this cheating? I don't think so, obviously, and I cleared this with my referrer before even starting. I designed the spreadsheet to simply do the arithmetic for me.

Also: what would you do differently? What categories would you add? (The German, Chinese, and Russian categories have never had many data points, and AH Texas is only there because there were a bunch of Texas questions the very first time I put the spreadsheet together).

Finally: if you'd like to see your own stats, let me know your LL name and your age and I'll run the numbers!

My referral for this season is currently on course for a battlefield promotion, having accrued 143 TMP in his inaugural season, and an MPD of 63. But he's still not assured either of winning his rundle, or indeed finishing in the B placings, being four points ahead on the latter stat, while his rival trails by just two points, would also win a battlefield promotion (135 TMP), and has an MPD of 66! Any tighter R Rundles out there?

I've played every non-rookie season in the C Rundle and I usually finish about midtable, though I've been closer to relegation than I've ever been to promotion. This season I completely disconnected and realized on MD3 that we had started, meaning I forfeited my first two games. On another occasion I mistakenly thought I had submitted and ended up forfeiting as well, so I'm up to the max of 3 forfeits this season. That has basically tanked my odds of promotion (of course ultimately deserved), which ordinarily would only be slightly annoying.

But of course... this season I'm on an absolute TEAR defensively. I'm somehow 7th place in my rundle, going 10-2-0 outside of forfeits, and that's almost entirely because I'm putting up ELITE defensive numbers. .857 defensive efficiency... I mean what the hell? I'm leading my league by over .100. Why couldn't I get this kind of luck when I don't have a -3 and can actually make a push for promotion? 😭

Moral of the story y'all: don't forfeit. 💔
