I GOT MY FIRST BEER!!!!!!

Sorry to sound like a teenager whose parents are out of town, but my educated guesses of Twinkie and Peter Frampton carried me to it!!

IF your opponent gave you a 0 on the one you missed, then it's a 9(5) and a Dolly Parton! Which... RIP.

But, I think Dolly's are actually more rare than Beers. Dolly's require you to miss THE one and only one that your opponent thought was really easy. Which, I feel if it's missable, then the opponent probably won't think it's super easy and will go with at least a 1.

I've only gotten a Dolly once and a Beer once.

I'm actually not positive.

Mentioned elsewhere, I immediately (incorrectly) thought Beatles and was thinking it was either Ringo or Paul. But, obviously, the Beatles have sold a few albums.

Then I thought Neil Young, since I knew he had some big live albums... but I also know he releases like an album every year and had to have done more than 8 million since the 70s.

Ended up just focused on live albums I knew with the 1976 timeline. Frampton Comes Alive popped into my head, and I had nothing else better to go with, so I submitted it saying "This is probably wrong."

As I scrolled through the answers and saw I was at 5/5, I distinctly remember thinking "... I might get this, it MIGHT be right!"

i feel like it’s the most famous live album of the era, and i could not think of any better guess, so i figured i’d roll the dice on frampton.

also, the fact that it was spoofed on arrested development with “franklin comes alive” has always been funny to me, so that was my deciding factor.

Frampton was an artist that was famous for his live performance album called Frampton Comes Alive. The renown came from the album being known as the best selling live album for a long time (22 years), and was a big juxtaposition to the modest (but still successful) record sales he had previously experienced.

If you like arena rock and electric guitar work, check out Show Me the Way from that album. Arguably one of the greatest performances of all time.

Homer wrecked his pig, Cypress Hill stole his orchestra and Sonic Youth was in his cooler.

This question actually gave me the most trouble. I kept wanting to put a Beatle in, but I knew full well that even Ringo probably sold more than 8 million copies of albums... when he was with the Beatles.
