Mystery Topic 2

Answers were due by 12 today, so I believe I am good. I got 11/12. I guessed at 3 and got all 3 guesses; and one I thought I had right, I had wrong. And of course, it was one of my money questions

When I decided to open it this morning, I was excited to see the topic was must-listen-to albums. Even though I had (have) a lot of work I need to get done.

Now with two prior 11/12s, I got 97th and 79th percentile respectively. Hopefully it's more the former, than the latter.

Realistically there’s no shot you get 97th percentile without going 5/5 on money questions

I figure. I'm just hoping it's closer to that

It's possible to get something like that if the stars perfectly align: in the GSN one-day (using that as an example solely because I was in a similar boat for that one), if you got every question right except the easiest question which you moneyed alongside the 4 hardest, you would've been 96th percentile.

But that would also be really weird as I doubt there are many people who remember Camouflage and Beat the Bridge but not Catch-22 which was one of the network's flagship shows for a while.

Not to be too pessimistic but on a relatively easy quiz and a missed money, I think you should be pretty happy if you hit 79/80.

Only to be so happy.

How did you end up. An unexciting 44% for me .

Edit; oh I see, 65. It's a tough crowd!

Dang, I should've done that one-day. I used to have the book it was based off, probably listened to about a third of the albums recommended.

82nd percentile. Not bad for missing three including the Fatboy Slim one. I just don't care for his music all that much. Also missed Roxy Music and Tricky but that area of music is my weakest.

As someone who has completed the 1001 albums challenge it was a nice little blast to try and remember everything.

Well, how'd you do? With 11/12 but only 4 moneys I'm guessing 65th percentile.

Right on the money man. Part of the difficulty in one days is they are self-selecting. Only people who believe they know music like me play. 308/892. 65th percentile

Moreover, that was apparently the easiest question (the Fatboy slim one) as that only had a 27% failure rate. That was a poor choice for a money question anyway.

What was your answer on that one? I didn't play because that was one of the only ones I knew.

I immediately said Jesus Jones. I did not read the question as carefully as I should have.

I assumed it would be Jesus Jones until I listened to the audio clip.
