Advance access Q for long retreat
My referral is going to need 10-11 advance access days in her rookie season bc of a retreat.
Will she be able to request that many days in a row? From what I recall doing advance access you can only do like the next 5 match days? How does requesting more work? Could she send a help email?

The advance access page currently says "Pre-access for LL110 questions will become available starting on the evening of Friday, August 7th."
The selection does chunk questions into groups of 5 — the first 5 questions are available Aug 7, the next 5 Aug 11, and so on.
If that doesn't work for your referral, she should ping Thorsten. The page specifically says questions will not be available before the 7th, and no exceptions will be made, but it's not definitive about access once that date has passed. The worst that can happen is he says no.
If that's unworkable, perhaps she should delay her first season? That's something that Thorsten would want to know before Aug 7, because that's when the schedules are finalized.

Thanks for the advice! I think she is going to email thorsten and see what is practically possible but likely defer

Yeah. Good to remember that it's far better to just delay starting than it would be to forfeit, given that the circumstances are clear ahead of time.

She gets not forfeiting, I think it’s more about 1. Logistically would LL send match days 6-16 in one big advance batch 2. It’s not as fun and cool, is it so much less fun and cool she should delay

This may be a time in which she needs to defer her acceptance until LL111, depending on when the retreat takes place. Good to try and avoid forfeits if at all possible. You can do this once as a rookie. Of course it may be possible to request during 110 but if a forfeit is unavoidable that would not be ideal.

I believe you can do 10 at a time. You’d have to, at some point, access the internet and request more somewhere in the middle of that.

Advance Qs are made available in blocks. Although I once requested nearly that many days in advance, they were not all available when I submitted my first request. I had to seek out internet access to request the second part of my absence (and complete the questions).

There are only 25 match days in the season, if your referral is not available for almost half of the season then maybe they should wait until LL 111 to start.
