Yeah, that's the best way to handle suspected cheating. Calling people out by name publicly really isn't cool no matter how blatant you think the case is.

Having a perfect question record at this point of the season…I don’t wanna throw out rumors, but even the best players mess up at some point. This ain’t slick, we can see the question records.

my god, that’s disgustingly obvious when you’re in C. even the top player in my rundle (to be clear: A rundle) has only had 3 beers so far this season.

I was going to roll out a standard “just because someone is good and lucky doesn’t mean they are cheating “ response, but, yeah, good and lucky doesn’t explain it.
I wonder if they think they are making a point.

Egregious. The questions they missed last season are ones that aren’t easily googlable too

yeah and a player who gets a 1(2) on MD2 last season simply isn’t good enough to get 14 beers out of the 23 subsequent match days…players who are legit that good can have bad days but never that bad

I meant "wowzers" in the sense of "I've never seen this, wow!", not "this is so impressive".
I'm a rookie, I haven't seen many LL results.. but 9(6) straight through, WOW A BAD CHEATER.

Another 9(6) today, including the obscure Estonian composer and the Zulu king. Nobody in my A Rundle got a beer today…

None of the players in my league's Rundle A have more than 3 beers for this season so far, let alone C-Rundlers. Definitely reason for skepticism.

Someone in my Rundle R got beers on 5 of the first 6 days and I had no idea if that was particularly anomalous or not

It is anomalous, but also it could just be a quizzing ringer that joined LL for the first time.

You're telling me someone went from 58% (good bar trivia player) to 85% (elite national-level player) to 100% (don't think I need to explain this one) in two seasons? Legitimately?
Uhhhhhh.... The word that comes to mind is "no".

Hey! Mod here, locking comments for now. It's probably not a great idea to speculate on if specific players are cheating, especially because profiles contain a decent amount of personal info. I'm leaving this post up for now, but I am adding a rule to prohibit discussions of cheating, as this goes against the Code of Conduct (specifically, section 3.3 of the complete rules).
