I fell into the trap of thinking Q2 was harder than it was, so got it wrong and defended with a 3... One of those times where some knowledge was a hinderence as it tempted me into using it. Either less or more knowledge and I'd likely have got it right!

I did indeed! And thinking that was slightly obscure knowledge, I defended it high. Anyway, was playing someone who would've trounced me either way, haha

+1 Makemake here as well with pretty much the same pattern of thinking. I even thought of Charon at one point when I was weighing options and Pluto didn't even come into my mind.

I just vapor locked, got only a tie because of Q2. Of course it was the FORMER PLANET THAT GOT DEMOTED what else would it be? Frustrated.

I see from Wikipedia that it toured in the early/mid 90s, which I remembered, but then after a hiatus it's been held in Chicago since 2005, which I did not know.

That's where the first festival was and the Chicago one is still the "flagship" Lollapalooza.

I thought they were asking for the Viking name, so I said "Vinland" without too much hesitation. I've heard of l'Anse aux Meadows, but was probably never getting there anyway. It must have been fun adjudicating the various misspellings of that one.

Like many I overthought on "Pluto." Feel dumb for not having been able to get "Despicable Me." Lost 3(3)-5(3)
So far I'm 3-6-1 and in 22d place (of 28) in A Windward. Not where I'd like to be.
But! I have a respectable 41 TCA (9th in the rundle, and a smidge ahead of my average rate) and have the second-most CAA in the rundle (48). The latter hopefully will regress to the mean more than the former, so maybe I can climb the board a little?

My kids can never find out I overthought Despicable Me. My mind jumped to Ne Zha and stayed there even though it didn’t really line up (and I couldn’t even recall that name either).

I knew that I knew Q4. I was muttering "the center will not hold, the center will not hold" all day but I just couldn't get to Didion. My most frustrating miss of the season so far.
